《硅谷》（半月刊）创刊于2002年，由中国科技新闻学会主办。本刊办刊宗旨：宣传党和国家的科技方针、政策和科技、法津、法规，公布新的科技成就，传播科技信息，交流学术思想，促进科技成果商品化、产业化，为建设社会主义精神文明与物质文明服务。主旨在于关注高新技术产业的发展，促进高新技术的研究应用，推动高新技术的传播普及。
