《科技情报开发与经济》杂志是公开发行的综合性科技期刊(ISSN 1005-6033，CN 14-1157/N)。由山西省科技厅主管，山西省科技情报研究所、山西省科技情报学会主办。1991年8月创刊，1997年被中(yang)(xuan)传(bu)、国家科(wei)、新闻出版署评为全国优秀科技期刊，1998年被评为华北地区优秀期刊，1994至2005年本刊连续12年被评为山西省一级期刊。经国家科技部批准并报国家新闻出版总署，从2007年1月起，本刊将由半月刊改为旬刊。
